Airports

Glenn County operates two Public General Aviation Airports--Orland Haigh and Willows Glenn.

The Airports receive revenue from the sale of fuel, rental of hangars, leasing of airport property and leasing of industrial park property. Each Airport also receives an annual $10,000 grant from the State of California that may be used for airport operational expenses.

Glenn County also operates the Orland Airport Industrial Park. The 65 acre industrial park is located directly east of the Orland Haigh Field Airport and is close to major transportation routes. For more information please click the link above or call our offices at 530.934.6530.

Orland Haigh Field - Located in Orland, CA at the southwest corner of County Roads P and 200, south of State Highway 32. The Orland Airport has one runway, 15-33. it is approximately 5,160 feet long and 50 feet wide. Runway lights are activitated with radio-3X for low, 5X for medium and 7X for high. Radio frequency is Unicom 122.7, irregular monitoring. PAPI lights are always on.

Willows Glenn - Located in Willows, CA at the southwest corner of State Route 162 (Wood Street) and Interstate 5. The Willows Airport has two runways-16/34 and 13/31. Runway 16/34 has a north/south orientation and is approximately 4100 feet in length. Runway 13/31 is a diagonal runway and is approximately 3550 feet in length. Runway lights (when beacon is operational) activated with radio-3X for low, 5X for medium and 7X for high. VASI activitated with 3 clicks, only for Runway 16/34. Radio Frequency is Unicom 122.8, irregular monitoring.
