Current and Planned Projects
March 31, 2010 - Our road system took quite a beating during the first two months of 2010. We had significant volumes of debris and water which washed out shoulders, popped out road patches and undermined some of our low water crossing areas. The damages caused by localized flooding take months to recover from. Road crews continue to clean up the mess left behind by the storms.
Taking advantage of low water levels in the Glenn Colusa Irrigation System canals crews completed the underground portion of their repairs on two bridges. The first on County Road 62 and the second on County Road 48. Asphalt applications to complete these repairs will be scheduled later this year when temperatures are warmer.
Crews also continue to take care of regular road maintenance items like patching potholes, pruning, cleaning drains and shouldering. To report areas that require our attention please contact us online anytime or call 530-934-6530 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
